Adopt a Project

What's a Project Tile?

A project tile is one specific, manageable piece of the greater whole. Each tile represents a particular project that an individual or a group can “adopt” and fund– a project that represents one of the most urgent, most important needs of our orphanage partners.

The great thing about project tiles is that they make it crystal clear where your donation will be going, and much easier to choose the areas of focus that mean the most to you.

Everyone who adopts a project tile can rest assured that 100% of their contribution will go to a project that really matters right now— not to overhead, not to other projects, just the one specific project outlined in the project tile.

Improving, repairing, or building new infrastructure is a constant need with all of the orphanages we support. Rancho do los Ninos gets its name because it does indeed feel like a ranch – the sprawling space hosts 85 kids and has 18 buildings including homes, small offices, volunteer dorms, a chapel, kitchen, a shop, and residences for support staff. Through our volunteer program, we coordinate groups to come help provide the labor to carry out a variety of construction projects, and they need the correct tools and in adequate amounts in order to do quality work.

We need to build the cache of tools for volunteers and on-site construction workers to use, including items such as hammers, drills, wrenches, rakes, shovels, saws, nail guns, grinders, hand tools, measuring implements, ladders, axes, clamps, hardware, etc.

Project Timeline

Building projects are ongoing. Though we average about 30 service trips a year, on site workers are working on projects daily. It is critical to provide them with quality tools to work more efficiently and more safely.
