  FEED A BABY MONTHLY
The Goggins
Sherrie and John Goggins

A Child's Hope Foundation president, Perry Brätt, wanted to share his feelings and experiences with the Goggins family. The Goggins donate enough formula to feed one infant every month.

Whenever I see baby formula, I immediately think of John and Sherrie Goggins. Every month for over three years I have arrived at work to find sitting on my desk another $200 worth of recently-purchased baby formula. In addition, they have provided a water filtration system for the Haiti orphanage, delivered dozens of large boxes and bags of orphan aid (toys, medical supplies, soap, and school supplies), and recently were able to secure the retail value of $2000 worth of new baby clothing.

The Goggins do not enjoy a large income, so I have asked them why they keep giving when they have so little to give. Their answer was, "We love children! The thought of a baby going hungry or unclothed when we could have done something about it is unthinkable!" Where do some who have so little time and money, find the energy and commitment to give so much of themselves? I do not know the answers but I know the results: Hundreds of children have a more joyful, healthy life because this family, who also has needs, gives to those who have even greater needs.

I hope that some day, perhaps it will not be until after this life, those blessed children will be able to wrap their arms around John and Sherrie and thank them. In the meantime, we at ACHF express our appreciation for their faithful sacrifices. It is only because of donations like theirs that we are able to exist as an organization and feed, clothe, and give love to orphaned and abandoned children until we find them families.

Feeding and caring for an orphaned child costs between $12-$24 a day depending on the country. If you too would like to feed a child for a day, a week, or a month, just click this link.

Allred Family a Plaque of Appreciation

Dear Anne Marie and Family:

As President of A Child's Hope Foundation, and representing the Board of Directors as well, we wish to express our most sincere appreciation to you and your family for the countless hours which you have dedicated to the children of the Haeng-bok Won Center, Young-Shin Won Children's Orphanage, the Gwangju Infant's Asylum and other organizations caring for the needs of children in South Korea. We have been most impressed with your commitment, dedication and enthusiasm for this project and we know that God, who loves all His children, will bless you and your family for your service.

We also wish to acknowledge and express our appreciation for the kind thank-you-note the Board received from you. During the five years that A Child's Hope Foundation has been operating we have had many individuals who have expressed a desire to become involved in the effort to "Save Lives and Build Families." Some have participated in our work projects in Haiti, others in collecting supplies for the orphanages, but none have identified the kind of need you presented to us in January and then, on their own, generated the public interest and collected the amount of donations which you have done. You are to be commended for your kindness and generosity.

Thanking Anne Marie

cared for her when she was an orphan

We hope that during your efforts to provide the needed supplies to these children you found the staff of ACHF to be helpful and kind. As we indicated to you in the very beginning, A Child's Hope Foundation has not used one cent of the donations you generated for this project for its own purposes or administration. You can continue to let those who donated to this project know that 100% of their funds went directly to Korea. We hope that over the next months we will be able to do more for the orphans in this area by opening an adoption program with the good people of South Korea. The contacts and doors you opened to us will be most valuable in establishing a foundation there.

Again we wish to thank you for all that you have done to assist the orphaned children in South Korea. We trust that you and your family have felt the inexpressible joy that fills the soul when doing this work.

Sincerely,

Perry V. Brätt
